This has been an effective and successful method with many conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Achilles Tendinitis, Plantar Fasciitis and Rotator Cuff Tendinitis.
Kinesiology Taping
The Kinesio Taping method is applied to facilitate healing while providing joint and muscle stability without restricting range of motion, it also can be used to correct posture and improve circulation and reduce swelling.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Our Physical Therapists have received training to reach a high level of skills to detect and release trigger points in a way that amaze patients after they feel instant relief of their pain.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a widely known as a traditional Chinese medicine, it is almost like a deep tissue massage with using a special suction gliding cups, results in breaking up any blockage and restore the body’s natural flow of energy. The side effects of cupping are fairly mild. Bruising should be expected, but skin should return to looking normal within few days.
The McKenzie Method (MDT)
The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) is an approach that is trusted and used by clinicians and patients all over the world for common back, neck and extremity musculoskeletal problems through promoting the patient’s potential to self-manage with less or no medication and without surgery or other passive modalities. Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMPT)
Dr. Jessica Kline has a graduate certificate in OMPT. An OMPT’s focus is a manual, one-on-one, hands-on treatment approach with continuous evaluation and progression. It is an additional two-year certificate with a residency component that may be completed only after licensure as a physical therapist. An OMPT utilizes advanced evaluation and treatment techniques to discover and treat the source of your pain. Treatment is specifically and safely applied to your problematic area while minimizing motion at adjacent structures with the goal of reducing pain more quickly. Localized treatment helps to decrease the chances of your pain returning and increases your chances of returning you to your prior level of function.
Active Release Techniques® (ART)
ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that our therapists use their hands skills to evaluate and treat soft tissue problems that most likely it can’t by visible by x-ray or MRI, these problems could be related to muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Many conditions such as cervicogenic headache, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
